Dr. Khalifa Al Suwaidi is an Emirati scholar of global affairs and UAE foreign policy. He holds a PhD from Durham University and spent over a decade in UAE government policy and security analysis. He authored The UAE after the Arab Spring (I.B. Tauris, 2023) and has taught at Rabdan Academy and Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy. He is a regular participant in policy forums including the Manama Dialogue, the Gulf Research Meeting at Cambridge, and ECFR’s Middle East Dialogues in Brussels.
