Josefine Petrick is a Policy Fellow at the Bourse & Bazaar Foundation, where she focuses on research related to the Sanctions Relief Initiative. She recently graduated from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Bologna with a Master’s degree in International Affairs. Her work explores the political and economic determinants of global health equity, and her master’s thesis examined the effects of sanctions on access to medicines.

Josefine previously studied at Maastricht University and the University of California, Berkeley. She has experience in policy evaluation, public sector consulting, and strategy development through her work with Berlin-based consultancies and the European Medicines Agency. From 2020 to 2023, she also founded and led an international youth empowerment organization.
